Good location close to both the train station and the bus stop for the airport bus. The room was spacious and clean with plenty of storage space. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was large and powerful. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice (cereal, eggs, bacon, breads, pastries, cakes, fruit and yogurts). Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Viktoria who helped us resolve an issue with booking.com. If needed luggage storage facilities are available at reception. Hotel is about a 15 minute flat walk to the funicular to the Citta Alta. There are a number of bars and restaurants close to the hotel. Would definitely recommend the Mercure if you’re visiting Bergamo.

The room was surprisingly quiet, great soundproofing despite my window facing a busy street, also couldn’t hear any neighbours or anything in the corridor. Wonderful. What was particularly great is how helpful and nice the hotel staff was! There was a tiny issue with my first room and the staff immediately suggested to move me to another room even though I didn’t ask for it. Really helpful! The room was very tidy and had everything one needs, and everything worked well. If anybody from the hotel is reading this review, I want to thank you for making my stay in Bergamo so pleasant.

The room was very spacious. The bathroom is well equipped and had a lovely shower. Security box also located in the room to store valuables at no charge. Close to the station, to go to città alta put in around 20min by foot. At breakfast some choice even for those who try to eat healthy, like yogurt with no added sugar and tomatoes/ salad leaves.
